Clem joins Beach City Capital from CS Capital Management where he was a key member of the asset management and acquisition teams. In his role as CSCM, Clem specialized in institutional real estate investment management and advisory services. His asset management responsibilities for CSCM’s $1+ billion of real estate AUM primarily included managing property managers, accounting teams, and client reporting for a large separate account on behalf of a sovereign wealth fund. As a member of the acquisitions team, Clem spearheaded the underwriting and due diligence process for nationwide opportunities in the office, industrial, and multifamily sectors. Clem also directly supported the CEO for advisory services provided to Taft-Hartley pension plans, including portfolio management, strategy formation, and investment manager oversight, with direct reporting to the clients’ Board of Trustees. Clem began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in an investment banking group, and followed that as an operations manager for McMasterCarr. Clem received his BA in Economics from Davidson College in 2012 and is currently pursuing his Masters of Real Estate Development at the University of Southern California.
