Tess Cory

VP of Investments

Tess Cory joined the Beach City Capital team in 2022 to take on the role of Vice President of Investments, and is now actively involved in all aspects of Financing, Project Management, Investor Relations, and Company Deliverables.

Immediately before taking the position with Beach City, Tess graduated from Columbia University with her Master’s in Real Estate Development. Tess completed her undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University in 2016. She accepted a position as the Seattle Researcher at Colliers International, where she had a front-row seat to Seattle’s tech boom. Tess was then asked to take on all research and marketing projects for Newmark Knight Frank’s Seattle startup office, growing that office from 3 to 15 brokers.

She was recruited for an Associate position at the Echelbarger Fund; a family office focused on ultra-luxury resort development on the Big Island of Hawaii and a substantial retail portfolio along the West Coast. Tess spent over three years with the family office, managing the entitlements process, investor relations, development, and asset management. Tess applied to the Master’s program at Columbia University to hone her financial analysis skills (as well as the excuse to move to New York). Tess graduated with high marks from the program, developing great relationships with mentors and classmates.

Tess is very excited for this next chapter and looking forward to her time in the South Bay! When she isn’t in the office or answering emails, she is probably out hiking with her German Shepherd, Bodhi, or eating.
