The Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles Burbank Airport Hotel is in the heart of the entertainment action, minutes away from Burbank Airport with incredible shopping, dining and entertainment on your doorstep. The Hampton Inn & Suites Burbank is situated directly off the I-5 Freeway and is across the street from the renowned Woodbury University.
As part of Hampton Inn’s “Forever Young” Initiative, the ownership team at Five Star Hospitality contracted Beach City Capital to manage a full renovation of The Hampton Inn & Suites Burbank.
Beach City Capital provided services of Entitlement Management, Construction Management and Design Management. This included managing Construction Drawings progress, ensuring all Entitlement tasks were completed, issuing RFPs to qualified General Contractors, selecting a General Contractor bid, negotiating the Construction Contract, coordinating daily with ownership, Hilton and the General Contractor, managing construction draws and ongoing accounting requirements, managing the RFI, Submittal and Change Order approval process, coordinating with Vendors for Owner Purchased Items (IE LED Signs, Audi Visual Equipment, etc.) and updating the owner through detailed development reports and OAC meetings.
In coordination with the awarded General Contractor, Hotel Rehabs, Beach City Capital is on pace to complete the full renovation in record time: approximately 6 months. The project looks to be delivered on schedule and under budget with major obstacles carefully navigated diligently through team effort.
This renovation program is divided into two phase:
A full renovation of 99 existing hotel units and common spaces. This includes completely new bathrooms, room finishes, furniture and redesign/upgrades to all common and back of house areas (Fitness Center, Pool, Food Prep, etc.) among others.

An addition of 6 ADA hotel rooms and significant exterior upgrades to the existing structure and site. The ownership group noticed ADA rooms at this location were in high demand and were driven to fulfill that supply for it’s customers. The rooms are to be built in an existing parking area at the hotel. Additional parking and landscaping is to be added at previously underutilized site area. New signs, exterior paint, façade upgrades, new LED cornice lighting and LED signs are to be installed, among other items.
